Mebetoys Model #A-28, Mini Minor

The Mini Minor is a small popular British-made car that was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 to 2000. This is an early model in the Mebetoys series and appeared in the 1968 Mebetoys catalog.and continued to appear in the catalogs up to 1976. This model served as the "base model" for the Mebetoys Mini Cooper Rallye, Model #A-31, and the Mebetoys Mini Minor with Skis, Model #A-61. Although a very popular model in Europe it was never issued as a Hot Wheels Gran Toros series model nor packaged under the Gran Toros name.
